Aurora borealis, as seen from the snow-capped mountains of Finland.
Above are Cambodia photos that are printed into postcards. They are available for sale at $2/each and it includes postage. If you find a photo you like, let me know. Just so you know, part of the amount will go to postage stamps to send out to you the postcards and the rest will go to this charity, complementing the Cambodia Maps CD which was created by my husband. Last year, through the proceeds from the sales of the CD, we were able to hand over a computer set, complete with a 3-in-1 photocopier-printer-scanner machine, to Wat Kampong Tralach in the coastal town of Kep, 178kms away from the capital of Phnom Penh. Mines up: Wordless Wednesday
I love it. Someday....
I would love to see the aurora borealis. The snow, on the other hand, I can probably do without (I grew up in the northeast U.S.A. and had my fill of snow).
So Beautiful and intriguing. I remember being a tiny child and my father pointing northern lights out to me. We lived in the northern latitudes apparently.
Beautiful! Very different from the northern lights I've seen in America.
Reminds me of Christmas!!!
Very pretty!!
@Marice, this is waaay below than 8below!
What a beautiful scene. I have always wanted to see the aurora. Some day. . . .
What a coincidence! I have that very card sitting in front of me because I found it tucked away, unscanned. Some years ago, we were told one day that we should be able to see the Northern Lights from the UK that evening. All I could see was cloud.
